About Always Intense
Always Intense (the name comes from a line of dialogue spoken by Harry Dean Stanton in the film Repo Man) is the online portfolio of Philadelphia designer and artist Tom Farnell.
I started designing web sites way back in my freshman year of high school (1997), primarily nerdy comic book fan websites that shall remain nameless. It's nerdy enough that I design and code websites for a living.
I always got positive feedback from visitors, so when I graduated high school I decided to check out some schools that offered web design courses, and eventually landed at the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2001. Upon graduation, I was awarded "Best Portfolio" in the Associate's Degree bracket.
I have worked for various people and companies, including Masco Communications, Yikes!, DMi Partners, and Mirror Image, along with a host of musicians and artists.
